He is Risen.

Good afternoon to my beautiful readers! I hope everyone had a fabulous week, I know I did! One amazing thing about this week is Easter. Yes, we all know the reason for this day, but sometimes I feel like we all tend to forget the true purpose.

These past few days, I have been reading an Easter devotional through The Bible App. The plan I was reading was called Good Morning Girls – Easter. This plan was absolutely amazing because it didn’t just focus on the Easter story, but the many reasons Christ laid down his life for us. Here are some that I thought were super important to keep in mind.

We are forgiven.

Jesus died for us so we are no longer slaves to sin. Remember this. He knew that none of us are perfect, so don’t let those moments in life when sin has overwhelmed you control your life. You are forgiven.

You are loved.

I don’t think that there could ever be a romantic gesture greater than this. Regardless of everything that has happened in your life, God still loves you and He always will. “With arms wide open and hands nailed to the cross, He died for you because he loves you.”

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. -Hebrews 10:14

God knows we aren’t perfect. Why? Because he isn’t done with us yet. However, we are still perfect in His eyes. This is why we are perfect to Him.

He died so we could be closer.

Jesus not only laid down his life so we could be forgiven, but so we could have direct access to God. Right after the Bible says that Jesus breathed his last, its saysthe curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom” (Mark 15:38). This curtain hung to separate people of sin from God, but because Jesus hung on the cross, there were no longer people of sin. Jesus gave us direct access to God.

It doesn’t have to be Easter for us to take the time and think about this amazing act of true love that Jesus did for us. So whenever you are feeling down, unloved, or unworthy, just remember these things.

Beautifully versed…you have a way of clearly stating to others what you really want them to know, or come to realize and know…Your expertise with opening the eyes of your followers and the people you care about is a “gift from God”, too. I know you will continue the arts of speaking and writing. I want you to continue to share your thoughts with your family and friends. Your use of words is amazing! I am so very proud of what you have accomplished in the short amount of time since your birth! Remember that Nanny loves you!
