How I Spent My 19th Birthday

Hey there everyone! So I know I’ve been a little absent in the blogging world this past week and a half, but I decided to take a short break there to spend time with family for my birthday and for the 4th! The main reason I didn’t have any time to write is because this past week has been filled with so many fun days! So, I figured I would show you all how I spent my birthday!

Wednesday June 29, 2016

The first day of all of my birthday celebrations started with spending the day with my boyfriend and his family at an Atlanta Braves game at Turner Field in Atlanta, GA. However, I can’t begin to talk about the game without mentioning how Chris showed up at my door with a dozen red roses, a box of chocolates, and a Kate Spade necklace (which was my favorite part). IMG_7846

This was actually my first time at a major league baseball game, so I can finally mark that off the bucket list, stadium hot dogs and all !

Friday July 1, 2016 (My actual birthday)

For the day of my actual birthday I did the same thing I did last year, which was a trip to The Cheesecake Factory and shopping! For this years trip, we got to stay close to home because of the new Cheesecake Factory that opened in Greenville! So not having to travel anywhere was a plus!

After we stuffed our faces full of cheesecake, I hit up my favorite stores Alar’d State and Lilly ( that was probably a given).

As the birthday celebrations continued, Sarah and I took a trip to Mon Amie Morning Cafe in Spartanburg for brunch!

Now let me just tell y’all about this food! It was heavenly!!!!

Our first dish was the special for the day, which was a crepe with ham, mushrooms, onions, breakfast potatoes, and cream cheese. Then it was topped with an egg cooked over medium and paired with chow-chow and honey mustard. Yes, it sounds like the weirdest combination of foods known to man but, it. was. amazing.

For dessert, we chose the a raspberry crepe. This was literally like the best thing ever as well. This one was filled of raspberry and nutella goodness covered in powdered sugar!  (Insert heart eye emojis here) So, if you are in Spartanburg, SC and want to get fat for breakfast or brunch Mon Amie is the place to go!

Continuing with Saturday, for dinner my family and I went to a restaurant downtown Greer, SC called BIN112. If you aren’t too familiar with the best places to eat, BIN112 has just recently been ranked the number one restaurant in South Carolina!  Hearing about how well BIN112 was doing is was really made me want to go there to celebrate 19, because why not ?!?

I would love to elaborate on how great the food was, but honestly, I have no idea how to explain how great it was… andddddd I was lame and didn’t take a picture. #bloggingfail #isuck

Sunday July 3, 2016

Sunday’s festivities included celebrating the 4th as well as my birthday with some of my family! I personally believe that there is nothing better than a good old fashion family get together! A house full of food and all the people you love is all a person needs!

We take a lot of selfies apparently…..

But all in all, my 19th birthday was spent in the best way possible, with all of the people I love. Thank you to all of those that made this past week so perfect! I can’t wait to see what 19 has in store for me!

xoxo
